The Warthog feels solid, nice motion, good if slightly stiff switches. The Warthog toggle switches are a pain to bind in Elite, but it still works with some fiddling. The X56 has better binding options, an analogue mini-stick that is surprisingly accurate and 4 additonal analogue axis (two with centre detents).

The X56 throttle is truly a wonder itself though. It has so many axis and buttons, which you really need. The Orion 2 comes in a number of different variants, HOTAS Metal being being the cheapest version with an F/A-18 style throttle and F-16 style sick. Same experience with the Winwing F-16EX combo in my opinion. Combined with MFG Crosswinds, I'm having a ton of fun. Saving up for Orion 2 throttle to upgrade from my x52, but I got a warthog stick.
